With their history these razors are indeed priceless and i would not sell them for any price......almost any price. I would however like to get them restored to the best condition possible. The mgreaves is still holding together great but needs to be cleaned really thoroughly, sanded and sealed or w/e u do to horn. The dixie is clean but has loose pins. The desco is guna be my guinea pig. I would send them out to get them restored by a pro but im very wary about sending my 150+ yr razor anywhere at all.
Can anyone recommend a trusted craftsman? Has anyone had or done restorations like this in the past with good results?
