Steve, that Dan's Ark will arrive dead flat... you don't need to lap that puppy. Burnish with some kitchen knives.

In this case I've offered the seller a U.S. address (in the Continental U.S. to a family member) to ship to... he just wants out of the sale...

The original address I gave him is a U.S. Postal...

Frustratingly the seller backed out of the sale. They claim it is illegal to ship internationally... I noted to them they offered international shipping, and I've bought dozens of razors.

Korn razors

Glen's recent posting about double concave grinds got me on the search... found a cheap razor on the 'Bay and was the only bidder. There's rust near the pivot and on the tang, but the edge looks like...

My LeCoultre frameback arrived today... surprised to see it came with the second blade!

Will post a new thread, as the installed blade jiggles slightly... might not be a huge deal, but would be...

The brand model number... it would be particular to the brand, and is not a universal indicator of anything in particular.

Cruising the Bay while bored is always dangerous... I found a LeCoultre for a good price. Little active rust. I will probably leave it unrestored with the patina, as I think it shows well on this...

It'll come dead flat. It will cut relatively quick until it's burnished some... changes its character as the surface breaks in and gets glassy.
