Yeah, I have some good hand cleaner at the shop from a local outfit that has tiny poly beads in it. Great stuff which does not dry my hands out. I use the lava in the shower to get the rest. Works...

A few staples rolled-in from the Bay which have been impossible to find in stores for years.

A 48-pack of Lava soap and 5 widdle bottles of Campho-Phenique. Must-haves for me.

Smear vaseline. Wipe off after a while.
Looks good.

Do some reading here before lapping that. Some won't ever be the same after lapping.
Clean and apply Vaseline is always recommended.
