One I really like now is RazoRock What the Puck. Nice hard soap and great glide. I have never been a big fan of his croaps, or croaps in general. He knocked it out of the park with this one.

Luckily I have never had any irritation from any soaps or creams. I use few artisan products, which tend to be more strongly scented, so that may be part of the reason.

It's probably been mentioned but a good first tier soap is Green Mountain. Best post shave feel I have felt in a soap due to the amount of glycerin. Great value 5oz for 12$
