My thought is that kamisoris don't look that much harder and "westerners" only find it harder because they are used to western blades. As for Sheffield steel, it's good but I'm drawn to kamisoris....

Yes, I have been looking at getting the Iwasaki from him. I'm also tempted by some of his Dovo's. I just love the look of the Iwasaki and the fact it is made and not produced.
