Barbour wax jackets are working jackets, they're windproof, waterproof and tear resistant. As Steve said you can layer some styles up or get them with quilted linings. Great for general outdoor use...

I think all the wax jackets are still made in South Shields, England but all other apperal including Barbour International are made elsewhere. Might be wrong though.
