I only smoke a pipe from time to time so I'm not an expert in pipe tobacco but I would recommend Petersons Connoisseurs Choice. Its an easy smoke that's smooth and aromatic. Great for a beginner.

I've tried a few of the Dunhill blends so it's a shame they stopped manufacturing them. This is the first time I've tried this blend, it's a nice mellow smoke.

My online tobbaconist still has a few Dunhill tins remaining.

I smoke sporadically so just run a pipe cleaner through a few times then leave a cleaner in the stem. Once a year or so i'll fill the bowl with Deniclean solution for a few hours and run it through...
