Beautiful finish, you really nailed the horn and brass combination! To see them both shined up so nicely is fantastic, bravo!

Thanks Bruno. It's a testament to your blade, since I wanted to emphasise the shape as much as possible. The idea is to have almost a mirror image when open to 180 degrees for stropping.

I've decided to stain my own, will let you know how I get on. All going to plan, should have them competed this month.

Very nice! Did you work that curve into the tip? I definitely like that. Also like the jimps Bruno has put on that one.

My biggest concern is how to wield a beast like that when shaving. Love the idea of big scales to match the blade but don't want to make it unusable - will be tricky enough given the blade's own...
