Well, after much procrastination here is my BrunoBlade. I'd intended to scale with carbon fiber, but I didn't have any stock large enough. I did have some acrylic however, so that's what I did....

So after about 9 hours of hand sanding, here's what I have. Progressed through 120, 220, 320, 600, 1200, 2000 grit sand paper wet and dry and #0000 steel wool. Then mothers polish.

Yup, stropping in the conventional position with blade and handle aligned is a no-go. When I try it with the cardboard, I'll have to see if it's manageable in a 90 degree position.

Yup, ergonomics will be tricky :P. Stropping is going to be a cusser regardless, but I'll try some cardboard before I start cutting carbon fiber to try to get a feel.

Kind of a ballpark idea...carbon fiber.
