Received my strop today. It appears to be a nice strop. It will take a little getting used to but seems to be doing what I need.185233

I am hoping that it will work for chromium oxide and diamond spray. Trying to keep the additives off my regular strop. Will definitely let you know what i think

SRD rock hard wool/premium fabric strop and a chromium oxide crayon.

Just placed my order for a new strop from SRD. I went the inexpensive route for now with the 3in Latigo with rings. I can cut it to pieces while still learning and go with a nicer one later on.

No longer in the mail, I received a Gold Dollar (for practice once I get some stones) and a Boker Edelweiss. I guess I will be trying a straight today. I found it interesting that for two razors...

Sorry for the dumb questions but what's the benefits of a magnifier? Is it somethingi may need starting off or something I will want later on?
