No the Sr never goes above 30 degrees. Though I do in places have it lower. I'm not so bothered about baby but smooth I just want a little better than I am getting at the moment

Just had my smoothest shave yesterday. Turns out that against the grain is harder to achieve than first expected lol. Against the grain on my neck for example isn't upwards like I thought it is up...

Also got some razor burn but not to bad

just had myself a shave with the old shavette, didnt get a single cut but I did get a bbs smooth finish, would it be fair to submise that I have the technique but the straight razor is a little to...

It is likely. Though bare in mind the technique between the two especially in terms of pressure is slightly different

I stopped using my shavette in favour of a straight as the shavete is just to dangerous though the feather blades are amazing

Though I get a bristle like finish when rubbed against the grain as opposed to a smooth finish

I do fairly well everywhere. The main issue I have is where the jaw meets the knack. Bit of an awkward curve to get to. Sometimes on cooler days the lip creases can be a pain too but not to often.

Still get the odd knick here and there but no more then a "normal shave" yesterday was a hiccup and got a lovely cut so that throws the title of this thread right out the window butility as I am...

Managed to get a lovely cut last night... I think that shave was to close... I need to aim between my normal and this lol

I had come home from work last night fully intending to eat then shave.... strange thing though, I fell asleep while eating.... woke up with a face full of mash.... needless to say I didnt shave...

Still trying to get that smooth as hell finish. Can get it in a few places so I just need to keep practising hehe. I did record against the grain to but it was so craggy handed I just deleted it lol

There's something gratifying about using a straight razor and making it to the end unharmed knowing that the only reason you didn't cut your throat is because you are so damb manly lol

Ohaha. Still taking my time mate. Ten mins a pass is really taking my time. Every time I shave I walk away a little smoother than the time before
