Do you have tips on lathering Castle Forbes? I've used it (I've got samples of the 3 scents), but I don't think I've ever got as good of a shave out of Castle Forbes as I have soaps like DRH.

That's interesting; I've heard some people say the hard soap is mediocre, but that the cream is fantastic, rivalling Castle Forbes.

Has anyone tried L'Occitane Cade cream? I've heard some people rave about it, but I've also heard that there seems to be some inconsistency in the strength of scent. It's not cheap, and there aren't...

It's a UK made artisan soap, and is much more mildly scented than the usual USA made artisan soap.

@Obie: Have you tried Phoenix & Beau? I have found it similar in performance to DR Harris.
