I'll second Castle Forbes, any scent, great lather.
I'd also add, Oleo soaps. A new comer to the game here on the forum. But will NOT let you down.

And as Benz said, Tabac is always a great soap....

I just load my brush in the soap container, and then whip my lather up in the scuttle.

I have to agree TOTALLY with this review of the New City Cream.
But I wouldn't actually call it ghastly upon opening it. It is very strong of raspberry though. And the over all fragrance while...

Very interesting part here on the soaps needing air and to dry out.

The samples include Lime, Lavender and the Cedarwood & Sandalwood creams.
