Aside from a small imperfection near the hardware, this seems to be a nice quality leather. Shouldn’t be a problem keeping away from that spot. I strop like I shave.

A custom strop. Nothing fancy, just leather but apparently handmade. I picked it up cheap because the person it was made for decided not to buy it. 18”x 3” work surface. Told my wife I bought it and...
