Frankenstein, thanks for the suggestion. I have listened to the Tognetti recording, but I prefer the Perlman. Actually, my favorite performance of all these is by Henryk Szeryng, of some years back, but unfortunately I have that only on LP. I spent some 30 years as a classical music radio announcer, music director and programmer and had the good fortune to listen and play a lot of different performances of different works. I miss it.
