Shave started crappy and ended nice. I needed to redo the lather. I have to get used to the thicker knot, loading requires a bit more time. So this razor is supposed to be half hollow, to me it sounds more like a full hollow. Ah, I love TI.

Razor: Greaves Sheafworks 6/8
Soap: MWF
Brush: WD 24mm silvertip deepset
Aftershave: T&H Sandalwood
Cologne: T&H Sandalwood
Another blade fresh from glen, he did a complete rework. Im amazed at how thick the spine is for its size. Quite heavy but is pleasantly balanced with scales. I love the grind style and the un even stamping.
Have a good day guys! Its almost the weekend.

Well, it has been over a year since I found this site, and I have been asking myself some big questions.
How did I arrive here? What was the reason? How come I have so many razors, but only one face? Is the Earth really flat like the Monks said? And then i remembered...A cheap shave. To some degree, Deegee beat me to the post a while back, but here is my "cut-throat" version.
All prices include postage. The razor owes me $6, as found, no rust removed, just cleaned and honed, soap $4, brush $6, strop $40, Paua shell free, plus I got a feed out of it.
I think it is entirely possible to get 1000 shaves out of this razor over it's lifetime, 40 shaves out of the Arko stick, the brush, who knows, but it has lost about 3 hairs in 50 shaves, and the strop? well i haven't carved it up yet, so possibly endless. No good at math, but that is some cheap shaves. Another average photo from me, but a great shave.

I had a fantastic day yesterday - I met some fantastic people here in Barcelona! Dr D, Jabonman and the wonderful familia at Myrsol :D today I used some of the new software (thank you guys!) - Aqua de limon and Jabonmans (Manuels) new formula and soap "Citricos", Bengall Cast steel regrind, Neil Miller paddle and New Forest extra stuffed 2201. First: fantastic soap, the scent's to die for, absolutly fantastic (complexed and gently lovely with lemon gras as base, also Bergamot and lots of other scents - in the same division as Castle Forbes). When I was finished I forgot to put on the Myrsol AS on the face while I shaved the head, the soap seemed to have taken care of the post work... However the Myrsol AS's really, really good as well, first I didn't notice much but it worked it's magic and after 30-60 secs I felt a fantastic fresh citrus feeling and scent, just perfect for yet another hot day in Catalonia/Spain :D

I needed a quick shave today as there is a big crush to get a project out this morning at work, so I reached for the Cobra. For a quick shaver, this little SE is one heck of a whisker whacker! One pass and I was near CBS. Some touch up and my face feels like a newborns!
Amazing how fast time flies...summer is fading, the company golf outing is this weekend. All kinds of projects at work as well as home and life is full, busy, and great!
Hope you all have it this good!
Have a Great Friday Gents!
