A 6/8"ish Otto Hans Deutsch razor - one of the prettiest of my modest collection, the equally wonderful Esbjerg Verbena line, and a (too) big 3-band Thäter.
Sometimes I feel really fortunate that I have been able to get hold of such beautiful and good shaving gear.

New blade in the stable and what a great blade it is, + 6/8 half to 1/4 hollow grind Swedish steel that took a very nice edge :D

I had a colleague from work over today to give an instruction in the straight razor shave. He was a fast learner and I was impressed. He started out with the Bartmann, but I saw him struggling with the size and the spike. I opted for him to try the Feather and he agreed. Things went really smooth from then on. He was inventive with his moves and he mowed down his four day stubble with relative ease for a novice. He even did a second pass ATG and all I can say is that he's going to like this. I asked him if he wanted to try this again and he reacted positive. I loaned him the Feather including a full pack of blades for as long as he wants to try and he indicated already that he will take this further.
Always nice to bring a new recruit to the gang. :)
My shave was excellent too, though longer than normally, because of the instruction and with frequent re-latherings because of the time it all took.
Made me remember my "early days" lol. :D

Second shave on this Peter J. Michaels and everything is going well. This will be a very good edge when it matures from a few more stroppings and shavings.
