Nanny's soap is always a winner :) Considering I forgot to stop the razor it was a remarkably good shave!

I used to live in Chico, CA a place in Northern CA that had a lot of agriculture including walnut trees. There was grafting where the rootstock of one walnut species was grafted to the fruiting part of another species of the tree. When the trees matured and needed to be taken down for one reason or another the place where the two trees were grafted produced some highly figured wood prized by stock makers. That little piece I have was a scrap for the burn pile leftover from a cabinet making job I was on...not in CA but upstate NY. I see the reason for synthetic stocks but nothing is more beautiful IMO than an oil finished walnut stock...old school.
