Toss-up between sharpton's outback's 8/29 and 8/18 entries. I'm going with the 18th -- it's the razor... blade and scales (and the rest, too).
PS: I own the same Fredrick Reynolds as in the 8/29 entry, so don't think I'm an impartial observer. :)

I'm going with Aug 15th. I normally like to see all the elements of the shave in the pic. But the artistic impact of the 15th won me over on this one. We have some very talented people in this forum! Great picture celticcrusader!

That is an absolutely killer razor!
Any serious straight razor shaver needs to have a Civil War era stub tail razor in their arsenal.
Properly honed, they are about the best shavers out there.
