We had a member a few years back (@oldblades). He did the laser etching on a lot of things. This was a business he had when he retired. He also had boxes and boxes of razors. I asked him to find some old pin-up girls and etch them on some wood scales. He tried it and they just didn't work out well on wood with the tiny details so he did these on acrylic. He still wasn't as happy with how they turned out as me but he still made them for me. He made a couple of others things for me too from wood. He was a great guy and I am sorry to find he faded away. He moved and had to set all his equipment back up. Only heard from him once after that.
I have 3 of these.
At one time he was thinking of sending me blades to restore and scales but I was working way too much at that time to take it on.
BTW, My favorite one will be posted tomorrow night. It's White so it shows up nicely. A bit of nudity so I hope it doesn't get pulled. LOL.
