It sure can be! Most irregularities - small chips/deviations that I can see with a really good 15X loupe will shave just fine. I can see very small ones with mine.Quote:

I haven't used the USB in a while so it was fun and always wanting to improve on the image I made a ramp for the razor to elevate it relative to the scope (more toward looking straight down on the edge) after that photo to increase clarity at the absolute edge. About 20 deg. makes for a nice image.
Putting a really nice looking edge at this level of magnification and testing it usually gives up a stellar shave.
Entire image width is 1.5mm - .0625" of the edge.
