Greetings Ray,
No need to justify anything. I assumed as much and i was only playing. maybe i can take a picture of the blade at a different angle ;)
Even though the rules state that you don't have to follow the rules i think the rules are pretty straight.
I can post a sweedish blade but it is so spectacular to see the U.S. blades come out of the woodwork.
I don't think it is such a great idea to do this too often but every couple of months a SOTD from the different parts of the world is pure gold. No need for explanations keep rocking.
regards, m.a.d.

A little bit of interesting history I stumbled upon researching this razor tonight - Robesons can apparently be dated to certain periods of the company's history by the stampings on the tang. This particular razor, stamped "Robeson Cutlery Co." and "Premier" underneath, was an early Robeson, produced in the first few years of the company, ca 1895-1899, in the original location in Camillus, NY, before the factory was moved to Perry, then Rochester, NY. Very cool. These razors CAN talk!

Well, I have my first injury from my straight (hopefully my last). I had just finished touching up the edge and was looking forward to trying the straight again, it's been over a month. I was switching the blade from my right hand to the left when it slipped out of my left hand. http://www.theshaveden.com/forum/ima...shocked003.gif I know I've read/heard many times not to try to catch the razor. But instinct took over and the blade nicked the forefinger of my right hand. Nothing too serious, just took out a little chunk of meat. :chop:
So, I bandaged up the finger and finished up the shave. Completing the left cheek area with the Dovo and then completing the shave with the Progress. http://www.theshaveden.com/forum/ima...ashamed001.gif
