First day with the AdP, lathered quite well but noticed that once in my face it "vanished", not drying, but getting thinner, do not know if evaporating or being absorbed by face, good shave anyway, although some irritation in the neck, but that may well be the TOBS Lavender I used yesterday, I have the impression that cream is passed (quite liquified)....

My first SOTD
In my experience the Taurino and Doble Temple look exactly the same, except the etching... But no matter what (honed and finished on different hones) the Doble Temple is always smoother and gives me a better shave then the Taurino. They are very close but there's definitely a difference and something that makes the DT stand out. Subtle enough for me to notice and keep the DT if I had to to chose between the two.
The EPBD is an 8/8 sized razor (mine is) so you're dealing with a larger razor to start with (compared to my 6/8 DT and Taurino). The EPBD shaves me extremely well. Nothing to complain about. Smooth and sharp.
So far my EPBD and DT are my 2 favorite Filarmonicas. And I'm talking the older ones that have the 'Jose Monserrat Pou' on the tang.

Tried out the Tosuke for the first time (also first Kamisori shave). Awkward at first, but I'm surprised at how I was able to get a 2-pass BBS shave (as opposed to my usual 3-pass. I also need to re-read some of the old threads to make sure I'm using it right. I did cheat a little and try both sides.
The side with the belly and no kanji is the side that goes on your face, I think. I hear people say "the concave side goes on your face" but that's a little misleading because the "flat" side is not actually flat... it's concave.
Anyway...
