First shave (am) Had to rush out to work and had little time on hand folks so....
Prep: Hot shower + Proraso
Razor: DE Mercur Heavy classic 34C loaded with a Lords Platinum blade
Brush: Vulfix 22mm boar bristle
Soap: Vintage Blades brand Triple milled soap-Lavender scent. The soap was applied directly to face to economize time. Good lather, cushiony, excellent lubrication. This soap is as bit as good as the name brands.
Astringent: Thayers Lemon
AS: Proraso Splash
Results: a very close shave.
Second shave (pm)

Another crappy cameraphone pic.
Too bad The Body Aftershave Gel is discontinued, it's easily the best aftershave gel I've used.

Today I had the opportunity to meet another SRP forum member, and I had a great time. He brought along some belgian coticules; eschers; swatys, and various shaving related items. I have had my Dorko for quite some time and I planned on rescaling it, but I really wanted to try the coticules so I honed it anyway, and I'm glad I did. We shared information about mistakes we have made in honing;purchasing; stropping, and fixing razors, though I probably gained more information than him. If given the chance to meet up with another member, please take the opportunity to do so because you will not regret it. SRP is a pretty unique forum that we belong to, because every member I have purchased from or talked to has gone to great measures to guide me along and help me out. Just thought that I would share this with the SOTD members, and Croaker thanks for help'n a brutha out.
