SOTD January 1, 2006

This morning I thought I'd start the year off right and shave with the first razor from my Bismarck 7 day set. I showered and then I stropped the Sunday razor. I then proceded to lather up with the Proraso red shaving cream (I love the way it makes my face tingle). Man, what a great shave!
At chat a couple of weeks ago, Lynn told me each razor would have it's own "personallity" when being honed, boy was he right. Two of them honed up right away, a couple of them frustarted the hell out of me, and the rest came along nicely and they're all ready to shave with.
But I digress. I've shaved with 6/8 razor before, but not one this heavy. Now I know why some members prefer these. The blade just slid down my face with no effort, like a hot knife through butter. No problems at all. My face is glass smooth and feels great. The perfect way to start the year. I hope everyone has shaves as great as this in 2006. Happy New Year guys (and gals).
