ThePhill,
LOL! Thanks so much for the kind words. I was a collector and straight razor aficionado before I became involved on the forum. I kick myself for not getting involved with the forum earlier. But I guess its better later than never!
Again, a real joy to be involved with such a great group of like-minded guys.

I cheated today and used the DE for touch-up on the neck. I went a little crazy on Sunday and left the neck raw. Oh well, live and learn.
[QUOTE=gssixgun;564835]Out at the Range:
The shave;;;;
The razor is my full hollow Damascus that Butch Harner made for me, snuggled into some of my Abalone acrylic scales..
The soap was AlRazamatazz's Da Bomb
The scuttle is the Georgetown one I won at the 09 NC Razorcon...
The AS some Osage Rub Wooooooowheeeeee that stuff wakes ya up..
A 28mm Savemac Silvertip brush
Now as some of you know Gemstar Customs was originally my Custom Rifle Company I just kept the name and moved to Razors...
This is a Sniper rifle I put together some time ago.
.308 win
Remington action
Lilja barrel
HiTech custom muzzle brake
Timmney trigger @2lbs
Titanium pin with fast springs
H&S Precession stock, skim coat bedded.
Leopold Tac scope Mildot adjustable turrets
Before you ask that is a vibration dampener on the barrel...
and yes if you look really close you will see that the bullets are Molycoated I do them myself that way in the tumblers...
These pics were taken out in the back pasture where I have the rifle range, one of my requirements when I bought a place up here, was I had to be able to shoot right on my own property... So over the years I have put in a rifle range (those far trees are 100 yards away) a pistol range (see the close target holders), and a trap thrower (off to the right).. So, now when do you guys want to have a N Idaho meet up :)
Nice! I am a retired sniper...in 07...I am putting toether a Savage action 7remm mag with a Shilon bull match grade chrome barrel and Mcmillon stock. Is you scope the LRT? I was thinking of going with that one..I love that scope, but I think I am going to get away from the mil dot and go with the TMR...looks like you get better visual from it.. Have you ever dealt with one?

Hobby - Music. I usually have something or other playing in the apartment. Since I couldn't fit my Klipsch SB3's or my Adcom Preamp or Amp, I stuck in the adapter for my Koss Pro4AA Ti headphones. Funny how that razor makes it look so small...
Good god! Not only do you have the most ridiculously beautiful NOS straights and that Heritage Finest, but you're also in my home of San Francisco, which I miss as I look out the window at the rainy day in New York.
Please keep posting your SOTD; they're always wonderful to look at.
The fishing I enjoy the most is in small mountain trout streams. Boulder hopping and short casts to small pools. Close up fishing and fish you have to work hard to not spook. While mountain trout in these small streams don’t grow large, they are always hungry. It was not uncommon to catch and release 30 Brook Trout in an afternoon on the Rapidan.
This is my mountain trout rig. An Orvis Battenkill Mark III by Hardy and an Orvis 7 ½ ‘ graphite Tippet model 3 weight rod. It appears I could have cleaned it up better, there are trout scales on the handle.
I learned mountain trout fishing from my mentor, Harry Murray, on the Rapidan River located in the Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. What I learned there transfers well to the small, fast, mountain streams of the Smokey Mountains. The places author Harry Middleton explored in his book “On the Spine of Time”.
Tonight’s razor is a 5/8ths Trident Cutlery Barber’s King by Wusthof.

Just want to say thanks to any other watermen out there posting, divers, surfers, fishermen.... it's a thing of beauty the oceans, lakes, rivers and streams!

With all the guns on display I thought I'd fly my freak flag high and proud today. I'm not Buddhist but I can dig their arts and culture. This singing bowl isn't mystical or enchanted, but does excite the ears and lower blood pressure. I also dig the overtone singing. The Tuvan's took it several steps further and developed many styles of overtone and throat singing, which I have been practicing for 10 years now.
