How do you find head shaving with a straight? I have been using my DE but would prefer using a straight, it just seems a little daunting
Best wishes

Where I can see, I do as uasual (stretching the skin etc) and in the back I use it like a comb but with short strokes and pulling/draging my fingers infront of the blade to feel if thereīs any bumps/turns, I also bend my head forward (to stretch the skin). I think itīs very nice, but I only do it when Iīm in a "flow". I use a DE also, a NEW seems to do the trick very nicely for me.
First time I did this it was a blood bath, used a shavette and got stuck on a bumb/irregularity on the top of my head :soapbox:. But if you do it with care and have the time, itīs very rewarding. At least it is for me.

Why thank you for the kind words, I myself usually prefer wood, however I wasnt sure how it would look against the Mother of Pearl, and I must say I am very happy with the outcome.
Just for you, here is a little something I did in Olivewood:
