Result: My smoothest shave so far with a straight. Almost no irritation and one small nick from experimenting with angles on my neck. :D

So far the Feather blades work for me only in my Blue Tip, not in my Super Speed. I've not tried one in my Futur, but will, one day. Feathers seem to get dull faster than my Swedish Gillette or Red Personna. Maybe some using the Feather are doing so for macho reasons .:D

Your experience with Feathers is similar to mine. They start out really, and I mean really sharp, but they seem to lose that super sharp edge rather quickly.

I prefer a milder blade like a Personna (U. S.) or a Wikinson Sword when I am shaving with my DE razor.

Don, I agree. The Feathers, while a very sharp blade, tend to dull after about 3 shaves. I could always get about 6 shaves from my Gillette Swedes.
