Same set-up today, as I am dialing my "new" razor in, except used GFT Coral Skin Food for my aftershave.
The Taurino's edge is just where I like it. A big, honking Fillie, but more of a half hollow. Amazing shaver!

It's been awhile since my last SOTD post. I've been getting all my "ducks in a row" before my son is born, so time is very limited. This razor was purchased from another SRP member, so I could have a loaner razor for friends that want to try shaving with a straight razor. But it shaves too nice to loan out, so back to the classifieds. lol.

Pre: Hot shower
Brush: 20 mm Olive wood handle, from an artistian in Holland
Razor: Revisor Crown Jewel
Cream: Vulfix English Rose
Post: Proraso
AS: Floid, Italy
Result: Very nice
First time with both brush and razor, both preformed well, amazed of how well the brush lays in hand and how well it performed and blomed, being the first time. Razor was very nice, but needs some honing, I did some touch up with balsa and it worked (HHT), but after the shave and 50/70 on Neil Millers linnen/buffalo strop it was sharp, but not sharp enough + it pulled some towards the end of the two passes. I´m very happy to have traded for this razor and it´s a very nice blade!
I have a "Medallon Taurino 14" as you, and I couldn't be more agreed with you,...a wonderful shaver, but it's very easy to hone too,... more than half hollow? Would you say that it's almost a singing razor? I like the way that it sounds in the strop...
Thanks for sharing it in that pic and congrats for the gourmet taste for the scales, this razors looks great :)

Pretty close to BBS even though I only did two passes N-S and S-N. This razor and the Boker Red Injun seem to have held their edge the best. The rest of the fleet has had touch up hones but these two seem to do just fine with the initial hone and then just a strop and go. Jimmy Buffett and Bob Marley on tunes. Great shave to start a great day

Perfect for when I only shave the face, and it really whiped up loads of nice lather this morning :)

Glad to see so many great shaves posted today, and so many familiar 'faces' from B&B (where I am persona non grata).
As I don't use a straight, I guess I can't post my shave, but I did use a SE today.
Cheers!
