A Sensitive shave this AM for a pretty sensitive guy... sniff sniff...
And who wouldn't enjoy a bit o' "Tail" after a great shave?
Attachment 46496
You sure it was after the shave and not during? :roflmao
Between the Campbell's chicken noodle soup yesterday and the Yellowtail today, I think Max' thread is slowly turning into an "FDOTD" (Food & Drink Of The Day). :rofl2:
All jokes aside, I am loving your SOTDs...thanks for sharing my friend. :beer1:
Thank you Bladerunner, and no I don't turn into Grizzly Adams after a week. I suspect my hair growth isn't as fast as some members here, but it isn't slow either. Waiting a week allows probably .5 cm of hair growth (just a guess) to be mowed down cleanly and effortlessly, leaving nothing but a refreshed face. Shaving hair more frequently requires more attention to technique to chop those insistent stubs barely poking above the surface.
nick, My face doesn't get itchy until the 2 week mark, or when I play with kittens.

Oh yes and some red wine to finish off which I am drinking now. It's only Jacob's Creek but is still good for where I at.
its 13/16, your guess was perfect :) ... and yes Justin is the man, it really is a great edge that I am thouroughly enjoying.
Pre: Hot shower w/ Conditioner
SC: CF Lime (Thanks Rene)
Scuttle: Dirty Bird
Brush: Shavemac Silvertip
Razor: Akatombow (No stropping for first shave after Seth honed it - Nice edge)
Post: Thayer's Lavendar Witchhazel
Edt: Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet
Result: Two quick passes near BBS. Now I know why everyone speaks so highly of the western-style Japanese straights! Seth put a great edge on it, and the frameback gave a great feeling shave! I liked the CF, but I pefer some of our homegrown products (e.g., da Bomb).
Of course, with a Japanese blade, I had to give a shout out to my wife's home town of Takasaki with a Daruma in the pic!
Ohio Gozaimasu Bill san...nice SOTD buddy :tu.
Loving the Japanase theme...Daruma doll and all...and not to mention the Nakayama (nice stone) the blade is resting on. What is missing is the Bonsai and a mini water fall (Zen).
Also, loving the Shavemac :beer1:.
