Colleen's 4a shaving cream
Dorko....uhm...I think it's a 6/8 or 7/8 I'm not sure yet but it was damn sharp and gave me a good shave
Goat milk TAGMSC aftershave.
Trumpers Marlborough colone (from a sample)
I feel GREAT!!!
It was my second day shaving in a row (usually I wait one day in between) and felt much nicer than I expected.

Best Shave Ever!
Hot shower
Hot towels for 3 minutes
Proraso Soap in the tub
Inexpensive Boar's hair brush
1850's Wade & Butcher 7/8 Heavy Wedge
Aloe Vera Gel
This is a razor I bought from Gary Alfonso, who reconditioned it. It is a very solid feeling razor in the hand, and the shave is incredibly good. I received it ready to shave, and it has been used a couple of time since. Freshened the edge this morning, and just had to give it a try.
No nicks, no irritation, just the smoothest shave I've ever gotten, regardless of razor make or design.
No brag. Just fact! :D
"It ain't braggin' if you can do it."

Hot Shower
7/8 Wade & Butcher spike
Vulfix 374 silvertip
TM strop
Williams shaving soap
Old Spice
Gotta love a 7/8 W & B. I sure do.

You can't beat a 7/8 W&B and Old Spice a great combo. But mine is a 7/8 W&B wedge like canerunner.
-
First *really* good shave with my feather (after 3 weeks of this). No nicks, cuts, scratches, missed spots or itchiness. I've been stroking my smooth face all morning :)
Hot shower
no preshave
T&H 1805 creme
C&E best badger brush
Feather (blades are about 3 shaves old)
Proraso aftershave
Royall Lyme all-purpose lotion
I have to say the feather shaves better after the blade dulls up just a little bit. First shave out of the box on a new blade and it's just simply too sharp.

Hot shower
Proraso
Proraso lather
Bleckmann 7/8
Proraso
Old Spice
The "Bleckmann" is a very good "Monday-Razor", it is very good for a one or two day beard. Its typical "scratching" sound can be heard even outside the bathroom ...

Put my two new (to me) hones to work on my Henckels 5/8" round point. First Wester Bros., then the Lithide. Stropped and went to it w/ cloths of hot water, C & E jojoba oil soap on my Plisson pure badger. Witch hazel for aftershave, as usual. The razor is definitely better than it was, but not where it should be. Next in line for the hones will be my Dbl Duck Dwarf 9/16". Maybe that will go better.

Shower,
Colleen Bay-rum Glycerine soap
Kratz Rotterdam 5/8 razor. I've been working on it yesterday, honed it and polished it. (still can't get the damn watermark out though....freaking annoying) and it turned out be quite a good shave. I don't really know why people say that the Dutch razors aren't any good. Mine is excellent.
anyway.
Trumpers Coral Skin Food
Trumpers Spanish Leather.
So far I'm a real fan of Trumpers although it might take me a while to build up a nice little collection (think in years).

The art of shaving stuff is a tad expensive but I was feeling flush the day I bought it. Tremendous shave however.
Use a headblade on my billiard ball like head, tried a straight once and looked as if I 'd been in a car crash afterwards!!

Pretty damn good. Although I'm not turning out to be a big fan of the skin food. I'll stick to the goatsmilk AS I think.

Last night I had more adventures in honing. I honed all three of my razors; starting w/ the Wester Bros. hone & finishing w/ the Lithide. Then stropped all three. Proceeded to hot cloths, C & E jojoba soap w/ Plisson pure badger, and tried out all three razors. The 5/8 Henckels isn't there yet, in fact it seemed better after last honing. Overhoned? Maybe, but can't detect a wire edge. The 9/16 Dbl Duck Dwarf is ALMOST there; but not quite. The 4/8 C. V. Heljestrand is better than I've ever felt it. Very smooth & no drag. Always liked this razor best on the sensitive neck area. Finished w/ witch hazel splash.

I am right in the middle of my SOTD:
already done:
Cup of espresso
Hot shower
Proraso Cream
Irish Moos lather (famous company from cologne ("4711") )
Stropping my str8 and enjoying the singing sound of the blade
double shave: with and against the grain
testing the "coup de maitre" against the grain" got a little sweat on my forehead again because my nose was standing right in the blade"s way :o
got a nearly perfect shave now ... :D
to do:
Proraso Cream
Old Spice
The str8 came to me from ebay. It is a "Schulze Weyer" 6/8 with ivory plates beside the tang and a nice picture on the blade. I first thought this ivory thing is rubbish and unnecessary, but it gives the razor a real perfect handling. The blade was really bad (kind of concave) so I gave it a new hone. Now it is one of my favorites ...
-
-Just a face-wash
-First lather with Wilkinson soap/brush (while stropping)
-Rinse
-Second lather with Colleen's 4-C Cavendish Black creme/C&E BB
-Satinedge 5/8

The duckling leaves my face with clean shaves, but there's no replacement for good Sheffield steel. As for the creme, I think I have a new travelling companion:D
