Wow, nice razor Rene!! One of these days Iīll have a C-MON and I would love it if itīll be a hand forged one like yours, very nice! :)
:) My Fili DT 13 has the same scales and I took mine out, when picking blade for today, but I cahnged my mind in the last second and whent for another. But boy are they good shavers, the Fillis!
Tom, you must PM me what blade that is, it keeps holding you away from all your other lovely blades.
Pre: Hot shower
Brush Polo 8
Razor: Nessbitīs
Soap: Mama Bears Rose
AS: Prada
Strops: Neil Miller /linnen/cardovan 30/50
Result: Uberclean :)
I never realised, but this blade has allways seemed a little different, now I know why :) Itīs hand forged in Sheffield, but itīs a singing full hallow blade and very "German", not like a Sheffield full hallow stiff grind, but a rather loud flexible blade.

Thanks Tom, I first thought it was your new one, but I looked to fast, even though thatīs a very nice blade aswell!
Thanks!!!
Beautiful razor Rene.
I've been meaning to order the "bomb." Now I'll have too.
Nice!!!
Your TI is something I've been really looking at. Beautiful Razor.
You have so many gorgeous razors.
PS. I finally was able to figure out the multi-quote option on the website. I've been able to get it to work with Exploder (Explorer) but not Firefox. Any ideas on why multi-quote won't work with FF?
Enjoy the day!!

Such a great shave yesterday, there wasn't much to be cut but I did a couple passes anyway and got a BBS shave too. Have a tolerable Monday, fellas
Location: Sunny Coffs Harbour AustraliaHave a great Monday fellas
Strop: Illinois 835
Brush: Comoy Badger
Cream: Tabac
Razor: Bengall 11/16 "Sawn-off"
A/S Balm: Nivea Replenishing Post Shave
A/S: Old Spice
This razor just came off the bench after a re-scale. I honed it up last night, finishing on the Thuringian. I hoped for a good shave and was not disappointed. Although the blade is short, at just a tad under 2 inches, the scales work nicely to balance it all out just right. A pleasure to shave with.
Result: Went all the way with 3 passes...BBS
Thanks for all the great posts & pics.

Result: This razor is very small but delivers BIG results. 2 passes and very smooth. It had been a while since using the Semogue or the Tabac. They both performed very nicely and it was a joyous reunion akin to seeing an old friend after a prolonged absence.
Last week was amazingly busy at work and the weekend was full of surprises that had me out of pocket for a few days. Thank you gentlemen for your pics and posts. When I can't find time to post, I still enjoy drooling over yours (I might go blind from looking at the tiny screen on my blackberry ;) ). So a heartfelt THANKS to each of you!
We're bracing for a major winter storm. The worst ice storm since 2006 (In 2006 we lost power for 3 days...) and the worst snow storm since 1982 (we just had 15 inches less than 2 weeks ago...but the forecast was only for 5-8 inches) 10-18 inches of snow/ice expected. If I get stranded at home, I'm thinking I'll be able to do some restorations and honing :)
Be safe out there everyone!
