This is my first SOTD.
This is my first BBS.
This is my first time when used a real badger brush.
I have not made acquisitions in a long time until now is a new strop, brush, razors... And lot of fun ;)
But the most finest thing is the Bengall. This small (ugly;-) knife was only a "side order". I was buying a Boker and seller (shooter74743) had also this Bengall for sale, so decided to take it as well because it was budget priced and I had never before used a 4/8 razor. I have now shaved with this couple of times. It is finished with the Escher by Shooter. I have only stroped it.
OMG this knife is awesome killer shaaaaarp!!! I have never before used knife like that. And never felt so smooooth shave!
:bow Thank you shooter74743. Your blade is amazing :bow
After thanking and sending our last guest home, wife and I just got back (or rather were kicked out by the co-hosts and the other volunteers...they will close out and clean up) from this evening's rather successful event. I decided to respond to some of you guys' kind comments and posts before crashing for the night.
The evening was an absolute success...By our treasurer's "quick & dirty" estimate, we may have raised >$270K between 214 guests (some of whom are BIG donors...and I mean HUGE :dropjaw:!!!)...We'll find out mid-week, in our followup meeting, when the final numbers are presented...This will be much awaited great news for the cochlear implant kids in Armenia. What a way to end Sunday.
Thanks Fonti :). It truly is a magnificent blade and shaver.
Haha Tom...once in a blue moon, I do have to look presentable and today was one of those days :rofl2:. Harley T-shirt sounds comfortable my friend, although you won't find me wearing that during this winter season, in Germany :roflmao.
Thank you for the kind words Jeff :),
It's a Brooks Brothers, luxury, slim fit shirt. One of my favorite brand names . I shop there all the time. The evening was a blast...thank you
Moonbeam,
Thank you so much for the kind words :bow. You are always positive and nice. It is very very appreciated my friend. The evening was a great fund raising success.
Congrats Robert!
That's a lot of money for your shaving-equipment.
