SOTD - 'RAZOR THEME' - Sun March 13th - Sat March 19th

Starting next week Sunday March 13th, we are going to organize a coordinated razor SOTD theme.
What does it entitle? Every day of the week we'll all coordinate and try to shave with the same razor brand that will be listed for that particular day. If you don't own that particular razor brand, try to use a razor that comes from the same country. For example if we do a Dubl Duck day you can use another Solingen, Germany razor.

The listed days and razor brands are

Sunday: Wade & Butcher (or any other Sheffield razor if you don't own a W&B)
Monday: French, Swedish, Spanish razors (or any other razor if you don't own one)
Tuesday: Dubl Duck (or any other German razor if you don't own a DD)
Wednesday: Japanese (Western or Kamisori) (use whatever you want if you don't own a Japanese)
Thursday: US steel razors (use whatever you want if you don't own a US razor)
Friday: Friodur/Henckels (or any other German razor if you don't own one)
Saturday: Custom razors. (or any other larger 7/8 - 8/8 razor if you don't own a custom one)

We all understand that not everyone can participate in a specific theme for whatever reason. That is fine. Your presence at the SOTD is always appreciated, with or without theme and pictures.

Cool idea Max! Too bad I don't own a lot of those razor, I'll participate as much as possible :).

This is great, now I won't have to think about which razor to use next week--Max did all my thinking for me!!

Sounds like a great idea...I've got every type razor except for the Japanese.

I can't follow exactly the sort of razors proposed, but I'll enjoy seeing the fantastic razors that are in those collections that you carefully keep

Great idea. I'll have to do some cleaning and honing. :D

Well I don't have some of those razors... but I also don't shave everyday... so I think I can make this work out just fine!!!

Why would Saturday be a problem for you? I know you´ve got two blades that could easy fit in there ... :)

Great theme! I´ll try and play clean :) even though Sunday´ll be my problem day, since I traded my W&B ... But I´ve got a back up plan ... Stay tuned, lol.

Everyday, I contemplate what razor to use and I usually change my mind a few times before deciding! I don't own a duck or a friodur, but on the other days, I have to do 0 thinking!

I have been neglecting this fine tradition for a while, but this themed week sounds like so much fun. I'm in!

Sunday should be Japanese razor day, in honor of those suffering the tragedy in Japan. I unfortunately do not own a Japanese razor.

I'm really looking forward to next week. I'll have to improvise a couple of days, but I should manage something close every day. I love a Theme Week.:y

So the real question is, do I have to shave every day of the week or can I just post a nice picture and say I did? LOL
