A peaceful shalom to you too Tom. A beautiful photo with a beautiful blade. Well done
Hey Andy,
Numb fingers??! Maybe you're holding too tight? That's bizarre. But, she's a beauty...Never heard of this blade before though.
Beautiful José,
It seems like you and the Vie Long are becoming quite attached, LOL. Must be a nice brush.
Wowww Bill...Between the DE and the Vetiver, you're going Vintage all the way. Well done.
She is a beauty Mikael. Very very clean too.
Now wonder that a picture is worth 1000 words :). Well done Jim. Looks (and feels) like a wonderful shave.
Rene,
First and foremost: HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your daughter. I am sure she's elated to be 10. Tell her my wife and I also wish her a wonderful 10th birthday.
Second: Absolutely gorgeous Fili and DD my friend. Use them both in good health.
Third: Don't give up on Al's creme...once you get there, you'll know why.
Mean looking Shark you got there Mark. Well done. Congrats on getting the very basics of PS working. One step at a time. before you know it, we'll be asking you for tutorials on how to do special effects :)
Bruce,
Beautiful EJ my friend. And that Cyril Salter Rose is an amazing creme...I think all of the Cyril Salter lines are.
Fantastic razor and sure looks like an awesome Saturday shave.
Love your Dovo Oscar
Oscar,
I think you will really like the Cade...+ it's real cheap ($10 a puck)...Forget about the bowl (not worth it for $28 or so...unless it goes on sale)
Me like...me like a lot. Beautiful shot Teiste
Excellent shave + gear Matt. Well done
It's got me foxed! Maybe my fingers bunch up awkwardly on the tang, but there's nothing obvious. I've drawn a blank when it comes to finding out anything much about the blade beyond what's stamped on it: Lindsay Manufacturing Co. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A stab in the dark, but I'd guess it's a premium blade (in ordinary scales) from a barbers' supply company
It's been a while since I've posted here, but right now is kind of like kid at Christmas time for me...
Just got this beauty back from gssixgun/Glen a couple of days ago, and wanted to wait until I had some time to get a good shave with it.
The shave was extremely smooth and close. Lately, a smooth shave without some irritation has been eluding me. Today was the exception. BBS with zero irritation! It's going to take a couple tries to get used to the smiling wedge, as all my other razors are straight-edged, and hollow ground. That being said, I'm one happy customer!
A big THANK YOU goes out to Glen for the awesome job he did getting this old razor back in service!!
