Thank you both. No, I'm new in this, so any razor(s) will be sent out for honing. The ultimate target of course is to hone them myself some day.
It may be the angle I am using (or better say 'the angle I am trying to learn using'), or even the fact that this Revisor is 6/8. I find it a tad difficult to work with just after going down from the chin. At the moment size-wise I feel much more comfortable with my 5/8 Rex.
As Mikael told me, I should preferably stick to 3 razors in the beginning, in order to improve the technique in a more consistent manner. So this will be the way to go for now.
Always nice shots, and very nice this brush is. I'm waiting for a custom one with a similar colour amber handle, from the UK though.

Great shave with this razor. The edge is so sharp but very smooth. I am enjoying the texture of the Boar brush and am thinking of picking up another.
Enjoy the day:

Very good posts from all today!:)
I always say Greaves razors have souls! This one is no exception. It was reground at some point and whoever did it was a master. It truly makes me think it was made today, instead of the 1840's! I wish you all could try it! This old razor will be presented to a friend this evening to mark his 60th birthday. Last shave with it! (lucky I have another)
A smoother shave was never had! Take care all, Tom
