Thumbs up Sun November 20th - Sat November 26th

    .
    Location: 36° 0'5"N - 115° 15' 21"W
    Razor: Maxtom
    Brush: Simpson PJ3 - 2 Band
Cream: GFT Sandalwood + 1 drop of Sandal.
    Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel
    AS: Ogallala Bay Rum/Sandalwood
Summary: Long story short, I was going to do a quick right-cheek test shave with the Maxtom and finish with my Dubl Duck Goldedge. However I got into a Zen mode as soon as I did my first pass and when I snapped out of it I had done a full shave with the Maxtom . I didn't mean to, it just happened. . I whipped up some great Sandalwood lather and a drop of Sandal FO which added to the invigorating scent. I ended the seal factor with a splash of Ogallala's Bay Rum/Sandalwood. Total Zen indeed.
Wishing all my brothers a superb week leading to Thanksgiving.

I'm still at home late this morning as I live literally 3 minutes from the airport. Traveling to Cairo, just watched the news, protests in Tahrir Square 2 killed 600 injured, oh well, at least I have had a good shave.

    Sunday

Aaron (my son) came round last night as we’d all been to the hospital to see Bailey. Two six day treatments and one two day treatment to go, another arm operation (to resurface the Fibula they took from his leg to replace his Humorous) and it should be the last we see of the hospital for a while. Praying of course the CAT scan and MRI come back OK.

Aaron wanted a shave last night; he’d bought his own razor but wanted to use my new one. He was a little amazed at what I laid out for him; the bowl, brush, strop, Proraso Pre-Shave cream, ingredients for a Body Shop Macca Root/Crabtree and Evelyn Nomad/Glycerine Überlather, Witch Hazel, Proraso Liquid Cream aftershave and Truefillt and Hill Trafalgar AS; also directions to make sure he soaks the brush and bowl while showering and then drains and replaces the hot water. I also told him to shake the brush only five times and also to cold water splash after the shave. It is POSSIBLE I was micro managing his shave just a little.

My shave, today, was with the Klas Törnblom. Aaron says it looks like it was made by a five year old. He clearly has no sense of minimalistic Swedish design. I followed the same regimen as recommended to Aaron last night.

There is really no earthy reason for my gear to be displayed on my front lawn, other than the fact I mowed it after the shave.

    Razor: Klas Törnblom
    Pre Shave: Proraso
Cream: Body Shop Macca root/Crabtree and Evelyn Nomad Überlather
ASB: Witch Hazel/Proraso Liquid Cream After Shave
After Shave : Truefitt and Hill Trafalgar

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?
