You know, what about a 'multi cultural' day? We could ask all those who speak (write) another language (i.e. their 'native'? language) to post a post in that language. That would be really cool! We could do it for, say, the first of next month? I know we'd get a lot of English, but maybe we could try and use our 'forbear's' language if we normally speak English; like for me, German, or French? What about that?

Even though I find that the Fitjar soap (unlike their cream) is a bit thin and dries somewhat, it was none the less an excellent shave this morning and a great start to the day.
Thursday
The Proraso shave cream/soap/stuff did NOT perform well today! It was lazy, indolent and downright obnoxious!
I’m quickly losing patience with it, it’s entirely possible C O Bigalow will replace it, and Musgo Real, though a distant memory, is a strong one and is certainly a valid contender.
La Toja sensitive I now find to be weak, pale and unexciting, though its stronger counterpart may instill a little confidence.
Speick, though also a distant memory, beckons.
Pre de Provence promises things others cannot, if only a certain strangeness and rarity, and asks to be called to be tested.
Truefitt and Hill Trafalgar pretended its tube was full, puffing out its waist-coated and watch-chained stomach, which has warned the writer against plastic tubes (rather than aluminium) who all have the same crass trait.
So, what’ll be the next cream? Musgo, Pre de thingy, NON sensitive La Toja?
For this AM, Proraso, as reported, sucked. The W&B performed well though, distinctly displaying the honer’s remarkable skills.
It was an almost all Proraso shave (still gotta get that Proraso AS), followed up by that Burberry ‘The Beat’ stuff, which is cool, but in this instance might have been swapped for some T&H Traf AS.
The day itself ended with a walk to and through the pine forest surrounding the town cemetery with Lucy, the Dalmatian.
It was noticed that Lucy’s hips were, well.... wobbly. It was also noticed that the writer’s hips were, well....wobbly,
which then resulted in a 5-days-post-NYR (New Year’s Resolution) to rid said writer and said hound from said wobbles.
Be good (first priority) be well (second priority) be happy (third priority), after all, what else is there?
Oh, just noticed, over one thousand posts. But that is only indicative of my penchant for waffling and my otherwise boring life, rather than being demonstrative of any shaving related 'wisdom'...

I hadn't used the CarrieM products in a while, so they were an easy decision this morning. The Black Raspberry Vanilla always leaves me with such a conundrum - do I shave with it or eat it? In this case, i opted for the former. And I'm quite confident I'm all the better for that decision. Nonetheless, the überlather was divine. The Manaslu, despite needing a little touch up on the stones, delivered a top notch shave and left me BBS after two passes plus a cleanup. What a way to start the day!

It's 29 damn degrees outside. This is officially full on ridiculous. The last I checked I don't live in Minnesota. This razor did such a great job yesterday, I ran it 50 laps on either side of the strop and brought it back for an encore. This took a great edge and kicked it up about 3 notches. I think this razor was scaring stubble off my face from about 10 feet away! I could have easily stopped after the first pass but was having such a good time, I went for another. Result--Catfish Belly Smooth!
