Great day and Shave today. Planted 4 new trees on the new property. 3 Pass shave tonight getting ready for an early meeting in the morning. I'm not really a fan of EJ shave lather other then the smell. I feel like the lather is too "slimy". Love the scent though. did I get a good shave? Yes. just not what I prefer.....

I have used it many times as an aftershave. I really like it and it has a very fresh feel & scent but I shave my head and find that it makes my already oily scalp super-slick (which I don't like). But that doesn't happen on my face.

A wonderful Sunday afternoon shave before family dinner. I didn't know what to expect from the Ultimate Comfort series, but it is a really nice product. Great lather, very mild scent similar to the T&H soap and the Dovo always gives a comfortable, smooth shave. I look forward to a fun week. Have a good one, SOTD brothers!

Prep: Hot Shower / Very Hot Water Soak /Rise baby face shave gel Razor: 4/8 Robeson Sure-Edge, 7/8 Puma 'My Darling' Hones: King 1k, Norton 4/8k, 300 laps CNat 12k, 5 laps diamond paddle, 10 Laps .25 CrOx Paddle, 100 Clean Felt, 300 Leather Brush: 24mm Silvertip Uber: Rise Baby Face Shave Gel, Cella AS: Alum Block & Pinaud Clubman Edc: Cuba Gold Result: Honed these razors yesterday in a 4 razor marathon. I found the Sure-Edge was a little nicer than the Puma edge, but both were great. Right side Robeson, left side Puma. Both were buttery soft and destroyed stubble. I had to skip a day shaving due to Friday's shave being sooooo good using my other newly honed razor. The Sure-Edge was a gift from a close friend, the Puma was an Antique store find. They both got a new edge yesterday and today was the proof I did well.

The morning after I reply to a post here about nicks and cuts, saying I’ve only had about 3 or 4, I get a nick! It was still a nice shave, though, two passes with the Schulze, and a nice Überlather too.
This afternoon I completed my walk/run to the top of Mount Torrens and back with a time of 27:41. That doesn’t mean a lot to anyone reading this, but it’s a full eight minutes shaved off from the one I did three weeks ago, which was the first one of these particular walk/runs for years. A far cry from my PB of 20:56, but still I’m happy with the result.

That's a very interesting story. Of course, it's really dangerous here in South Australia where we walk around slapping each other across the face with kangaroo scrotums, but your world seems to me a bit like a TV show.Quote:

That's really sad. I hope you get through it. I've found this forum a great 'leveller' in times of need. No one can know what guys we mostly haven't met and who live all over the world really think, but I feel guys here really care about each other...Quote:
