I finally got around to re-scaling my FBU, and while I wasn't able to save the original washers, I was able at least to save the original wedge. It's nice sometimes to be able to incorporate some of the original bits like that. :)
It will be a very early day for me, between my annual review at work and a three hour drive to conduct witness interviews thereafter. So I decided to post tonight in anticipation of tomorrow's shave. Here is my anticipated playbill:

I had to give a presentation to staff this morning, so chose the DE for a really perfect shave. I’d shaved yesterday afternoon so didn’t have a lot of growth anyway. I always get EVERY hair with the DE, as I can come up against them 100% ATG. I was also short of time, so again the DE was a good choice.
Nice warm weather; board shorts weather. The local swimming pool opens in two weeks. My weight is bouncing around 73 – 75, but I’ve managed to lose 3.5 kilos in 35 days, which doesn’t sound a lot, actually. I’m not really trying. I’m upping the exercise, but not really reducing calories, unfortunately. I like to eat drink and be merry. I think I should get myself put on an exercise wheel like a lab rat, but keep the sustenance up, that’s the only way this is going to work for me. I wonder how old I’ll be when I finally say “Oh stuff it, let gravity and age do its stuff, I’m going to the winery with a platter of cheese and cured meats…."
...and olives, sun dried tomatoes, marinated artichokes, hommus, guacamole, warm pitta bread and pickled onions, some beer, unwooded Chardonnay. I may need a rug, wool, and possibly a straw hat. Chambray shirt, collar to turn up against the sun, sleeves to roll down. No shoes.
I've been thinking of hats, lately. Maybe a fedora, or a 'boater'. Maybe a flat cap? You can advise on what sort of hat if you wish...
