a fantastic shave with the Weber..... the S/P really suits this razor. The Vitos is another wonderful croap... I'm pleased I have a brick of this!! :)

Pre - Alum block
Razor - Norton Cooperative Cutlery Society
Brush - SOC two band badger
Scuttle - Robert Becker
Soap - Cella, Palmolive Classic, 3 drops glycerin and 1 drop lanolin
Post - Cold rinse, Alum block, Thayers witch hazel

Great lather and relaxing shave.

PREP: hot shower with face scrub

BRUSH: Simpson Chubby
SOAP: Jabonman Vetiver
ASTRINGENT: Lucido
EDT: Tom ford Grey Vetiver
RESULTS: This was actually yesterday's shave but nonetheless a stellar one. I rarely use the Gem but broke it out and it was a nice smooth ride. Paired with Jabonman's Haiti Vetiver and the Lucido aftershave, It was a great shave.

Grant, that blade is amazing, I'm proud of you buddy :)

* Carl, you may want to consider the Gillette Old Type or Single Ring. They are great little shavers and quite unintimidating for a straight razor shaver. Hee hee.

Well today is my first shave since Movember started. Started to sculpt out the stache and chin puff. By the end of this week it should be pretty much there. I tried out another sample today. I find SRD has great lathers but I really don't like the Vetiver scent. Another scratched off the list. One nick on the cheek and everything else was good.

Loved the Shave. I finally took some of the harshness off the Top Flight with a refresh on Norton 8k + Crox. I have been trying a new pass too. I do a WTG starting from the South and work my way up. Worked great this time. I finished with a ATG pass with very little left. I was feeling very proud and happy.
