Friday
After a 36 degrees day and a stormy, rainy night the humidity made me think about a cold water shave, but only think about it; I went with the standard hot one. I decided on the Proraso, which I hardly ever use, for the refreshing characteristics. The De Pews did a good job and the Floïd paired well with the Proraso.
Great workout at the gym at lunchtime today...

Friday 30th November
Hot Shower and facial Scrub
Proraso Sensitive Pre/Post Cream
GD #66 6/8 razor
Semogue 830 Brush
Vitos Green
Witch Hazel
Organic Shea Butter
Clubman Special Reserve
Morgans Classic Pomade
I keep going back to the GD as it is the only razor I possess which I have honed myself. The blade is holding up nicely, and I had a very comfortable and close 3 pass shave
Nice way to close out the week!

Who's your helper Bill? Nice pic BTW.
Pre - Alum block
Strop - 3 inch bridle leather with hard felt
Brush - Vulfix 660 Med Super Badger
Razor - Wheatley Brothers Wheat Sheaf Works 6/8
Soap - TBS Macca Root
Post - Alum block followed with Thayers witch hazel
Continuing on with the face lathering and Macca Root kick got me another nice shave this morning. I never realized till today how soft/floppy the Vulfix was compared to the SOC 2 band. Both work well but just worlds apart in character. Still finding it difficult to do against the grain on the chin knob area. Enjoy your shave and the fact it is TGIF.

Went with the Proraso Green today again, but paired it with Nancy boy cream and Ubered it up! What a refreshing way to start Friday. Fantastic pics this week guys!
I was on the fence on both the Palmer #41 and the Nancy Boy cream, but I think I will keep the razor and get more Nancy boy next summer.
Have a Great Friday Gents!

Lukewarm Shower, Imperial Extra Hollow Ground, Semogue 1305, Mitchell's Wool Fat, Nivea Double Action Balm, Pinaud Lilac Vegetal
Lilac Vegetal seems to take more than it's fair share of bad press but I've been a fan for years. I figure if it can keep 19th century Hungarian Cavalry guys smelling good, it's more than adequate for me.
