Today's shave was excellent I'm really impressed with the Puma, the shave was inspired by looking at the Surrealist painter Salvidor Dali, and in particular the painting the persistence of memory, most of us will recognise this painting with the melting clocks set in a surreal landscape, now I'm not the biggest fan of Dali's work more of a Picasso fan, but I still enjoy looking at some of his work.

Razor | Burrell | Razor | Burrell | Cream | Palmolive ‘Shave’ | After Shave | Trafalgar
Close shave this morning, the Burrell is a perpetually super-sharp razor. I tried a little harder with the ‘Shave’ cream (which I now doubt is manufactured by Palmolive; it certainly doesn’t say ‘Palmolive’ on the label) but the cream itself wasn’t trying at ALL. Yesterday I thought it was trying to be the shepherd, but today I see it’s slipped backwards a little. I’m not sure it can measure up without some chemical assistance. A bit like me at times. With the ‘Shave’ cream I think the assistance will be in the form of glycerine. For me it’s normally a nice German pilsener, though I’m not averse to Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Japanese or whatever. South Australian beer’s OK but the other states can keep their swill. You American’s can keep yours too, esp that Budweiser, I hear it’s watered down now. And the Bud I’ve tasted was pretty weak anyway. So now I guess it’s spring water in a can. How novel…
I should say I laid down a home brew last weekend. You’re all invited ‘round for a tasting in a couple of weeks. Actually, there’s only about 24 longnecks, so that means only, well, um, three of you plus me?
