Razor | De Pews | Cream | C O Bigalow| After Shave | Blue Stratus
Actually, the shave with the De Pews was acceptable today, with the only change from the unacceptable performance the other day being less growth, a strop and different cream. I have now ‘programmed’ this razor to follow a Burrell Top Flight shave. The Top Flight is always very sharp; and always provides a very close shave. I feel one needs to ‘program’ one’s razors to allow for a less close shaving razor to follow a close shaving razor; else one is in hazard of sustaining the symptoms of skin irritation (razor rash, etc).
Maybe the De Pews has simply found its ‘niche’ or maybe just a few days for the edge to mellow and a strop made the edge more agreeable?
The Blue Stratus AS (at 6 bucks) is due to a limit on card payment thingies at a local chemist being ten bucks and no cash in one’s pocket; and hence the need to find something cheap (yet useable) to bump up the purchase price to an acceptable level. The scent is certainly not complex.
