Thread: Please Help ID My Two DE Razors

I need a litlle help for my sets, please. Year of made or ... !?

I don't know the years of manufacture, but I love the logo on the 1st one! I can hear the slogan now " Sharp enough to cut a crocodile in half". Thanks for posting!

Nacet is the LOGO on the first razor, its part of Gillette, as it does look like a tech handle of some sort. I believe its from the late 1930's early 1940's and was made for Europe/middle east, and is a more aggressive type of tech. (very nice example and fairly rare/hard to come by from what I can find) congrats.
As for the 2nd razor I have no idea as I cant make out a logo or maker

That's AAL -- absolutely awesome logo. I'm sure it shaves well, too, but who cares? Just great.

Just guessing on the white razor but ..... it may be from the WWII years when brass was devoted to the war effort. I've got some white Fasan slant head razors like that. Also the fact that it comes in a case would indicate that period. Nowadays they wouldn't offer that luxury. I've got other brands of Bakelite slants, usually brown, with cases. Most are not marked with a brand name so hard to say who made them. The Fasan slants I have had the name on the paper box, not on the razor itself.

The first one has a top plate that I haven't seen, but the handle is certainly from a british tech and the same handle was used on the Gillette Sport in the US. From the '60's wihtout a doubt. I am certain that it is a "Nacet" on it like stated above but if the handle is aluminum it is from the 60's.

The bakelite razor was made by a number of companies and is likely from the 40's.

On the back side of the base on "NACET" set has "U 2" and I think this is for year of made or ... !?

It's looks like a Merkur razor or a copy of a Merkur razor, or made by Merkur for another company. Who knows!?
There is a triangle logo and "0" but this means nothing to me.

The handle of the first razor is definitely a Gillette British Tech handle, but the head looks different, so maybe it's a NACET made by Gillette? Is there any sort of logo or picture on the bottom of the handle of the bakelite razor?
