A basin of water used for the shave and swishing the razor after is not a lot of water in my opinion. Drying the blade after and the razor is an easily acquired habit. No different than my use of a straight..I am a bit sloppy when shaving though.

I haven't heard many good things about derbys, but who knows.
    Enjoy the new experience.
72 blades will probably last me till I die :<0) Else I would have went for a bigger variety pack.

okay a basin full works? That saved the day. I was thinking hair getting stuck, blasting it out , air compressor shots to dry it.

I just had a thought .....I hope at least 1 of these things is in good enough shape to work. After all this help I would feel obligated to buy 1 that did. Plus I have blades coming.

Then let me know where the estate sale is so I can get some Ducks!

+1 on Royalshave, they've been good. I too wish they had a brick/mortar.

Just to give you a little incentive you do not want, if you have problems and cant use it I will buy them both and frame them. I can then go to a meet up and say I am the proud owner of the DE 10pups could not tame. Who knows they may be a collectors item then, I turn a profit and can buy Ducks

Swishing in the sink is what i should have said and final rinse in fresh water. Also if you are in a hurry go to Wally world they carry Wilkinson sword.
Good luck Buddy I am sure you will do just fine.

Well do like I do with DE razors. I use a straight every morning but if I'm going out that evening use a DE for a quick shave before I go out. Never know when you might get a kiss lol

Is it too late to cancel that sample pack and choose another? 2/4 of those brands are rubbish and most are split on the other two.
