The razor burn went away after letting the hair grow back and allowing the area to heal. Additionally, I am using the Dove moisturizer for after shaving care. And most importantly, I use next to NO pressure when shaving that area. I did not realize how much pressure I was applying; when I concentrated my mind not to apply any, I felt the difference. Plus I am used to the swivel of the cartridge razor, so understanding that the DE does not move, I can understand my angles more.

    Thank you again to all!
    Good to hear

I wanted to try shaving crème instead of soap, and it seems when I use the crème I get RB. I don't seem to get it with soap.

Hi, I'm in the same boat having only recently started using a DE full time (due to circumstances).

I find the burn happens if I rush and go against the grain on my neck first pass or if I go over the same area a bit too much and too heavily, I was surprised at how easy this was!

If I take my time (still half the time of the SR as much as I'm missing them ATM) I get a DFS with 2 passes WTG and touch ups.

    Have fun!
Never trust a man who, when left alone in a room with a tea cosy, doesn't try it on!
