Default Secured a Gillette NEW Short Comb

I managed to locate a Gillette NEW Bar Handle Short Comb razor at a fair price. I have been looking for one for a while now. I had my second shave with it today. They were two of the best ever. The NEW SC is a great razor. I have it paired up right now with a Gillette Silver Blue blade. I was able to get it for $18 shipped, proving that there are still deals out there if you are patient.

Nice Razor Bob. Nice pictures to. You stole that baby. Enjoy! I have not tried a comb yet. Is there a big difference?

The open combs are a bit aggressive, ideal for heavy beards. Due to having a comb instead of a bar they tend to glide with less friction since there is less surface area touching the skin thus less resistance and a real nice smooth shave with little effort.

Before switching to a str8 the open comb was my favorite razor, I called it the 'Brush Buster' due to having a heavy beard. Once you try one you won't want to part with it. Even though I use a str8 I won't part with my open comb. The main reason is I'll soon be 65 and figure one day I'll get the shakes.....don't want a str8 in my hand when that happens!

I have had the NEW SC for 5 months now, using it in my rotation. It was back up today. I loaded a fresh Personna Med Prep in it and went to town. I had a great shave today. It has become one of my favorite razors.

Very good deal for $18.00. That one won't owe you anything, it's definitely a keeper! Good job, nice razor.

Just as an FYI-I just finished my 6th great shave using a Personna Med Prep in my NEW SC.

Great shave today: smooth, close, nick free.
