    Default FH Tech-Maggard Handle

I put the handle from my Maggard MR1 on my Gillette Fat Handle Tech today. The extra “heft”, and even better grip, made for an even easier FH Tech shave than normal.

Did it just screw on without a problem?

Lince this is a bit off topic but how do you like your maggard DE's? I've looked at them a few times but wasn't sure of the performance of the different models.

My second shave using the MR1 handle was even better than the first. I really do think it "Ups" the FH Tech.

RC69-My MR1 does a great job.........once you get the blade aligned properly. Most of the time you have to manually adjust the alignment of a new blade. Maggard is up front about this on the site. I have stopped using mine because of that. That is why I decided to try the handle on my Fat Handle Tech.

Wonder if brad would sell just the handle? I have a tech laying around that could be put in rotation if it had some more heft. Thanks lince.

He only sells the MR8 stainless handle currently. The razors are only $16 and many folks buy the razors just for the handles.

I just finished my 6th shave with this handle using the same Personna Med Prep blade. All have been excellent. I really like this combination of weight, balance, and handling.
