There are many variations from Asia and Asia minor. I have tried some and found that i had to really be careful when closing them as the blade would go a bit off line from end to end.
    YMMV

haven't tried that exact one but I picked up a Chinese three piece probably 2 years ago. Plating started falling off within a month, metal was rubbish, blade didn't line up right.Waste of time and money.

Starting to look like an expensive Christmas. I might try getting a bulk discount on Edwin Jaggers.

Can't go wrong with the EJ. Quality build, made to last.

That's a Nanjie. I have one. Did two reviews on them. They are incredibly cheaply built, and the one I have IS NOT suitable to a beginner. Really aggressive, and I would even call it dangerous for someone without proper technique.
    First not very favorable review.

    Second grudgingly iffy review.

Agree that most of the Chinese knock off razors are crap. That said, the Weishi is identical to the ones Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars is hawking for $19.99, and the same as the one found in the drugstore Van Der Hagen set. It's not awful... And in fact it is what started me on my mission to find a better shaver (which led me to vintage DE's, of course). However, I agree that most are junk and the MTO is just a finer grade of junk. The Dorco blades that ship with it should be labeled "box cutters."
